Meet the Dovedale Court Care Home Team
From nurses and carers to chefs and housekeepers, staff in our home are here to deliver high quality care and services to those we support. Check below to meet some of the friendly faces you are likely to see when visiting our home:
George Appleton-Carroll
Hi, my name is George, and I am the General Manager here at Dovedale. Welcome to our website!
I have worked in the care sector for many years, and started my career as a cleaner. Over the years, I have completed numerous training courses and have had varied roles, constantly striving for an excellent standard of care for the residents I support.
I am passionate about ensuring that the residents here at Dovedale Court receive the highest standard of care whilst providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere in their home away from home. I am also one of the home's LGBT champions, and offer sign post advice for those seeking it.
Susan Carroll
Susan is our home administrator and joined Dovedale in 2011. Susan has helped many with their search for a suitable home for their loved ones making it that little easier, and also helping them to understand all of the finances and fees. She welcomes visitors into the home and is always happy to help each person that comes through our doors.
Brian Sandham
My name is Brian, I’m the activities coordinator down here at Dovedale. I’m new to the care sector, I’ve been a photographer and photography tutor since 2004 dealing with different ages groups and abilities. I’m looking forward to putting my people skills to good use down here at Dovedale.
I might be new to the care sector but I’m super looking forward to spreading a bit of extra sunshine and cheer around the home.
Sarah Fryer
Sarah has worked at Dovedale Court since May 2014 as a Domestic Assistant and was promoted to Head Housekeeper in February 2016. She has many years of experience in housekeeping, but never in a care home setting before Dovedale, she really enjoys her role here and each day is different. Sarah is always happy to help and likes to let the residents be involved in helping to clean and tidy when they ask.
