Ellie Lyons
Hello, my name is Ellie and I am the General Manager here at Epsom Beaumont. Welcome to our website!
Working in the care sector has been my vocation since leaving school I have worked in various different areas, including Domiciliary care, Dementia Care, Residential Care and Nursing Care.
I started my career as a care assistant and worked my way through a team leader, unit manager, Deputy Manager and on to become Home/General manager. I can therefore see things from a different angle as I have experience in different roles. Over the years I have achieved my NVQ level 2, 3 and level 5 diplomas in Leadership for health and social care.
I am passionate about care and my role in helping people to be the best they can be whether that is my staff team or the residents living in the home I am lucky enough to manage. My role as General Manager is to ensure the safety and happiness of my residents and to work closely with my team to develop their skills through training and guidance and deliver first class care.
I always strive to promote a family atmosphere within the home and this is inclusive of everyone: residents, families, friends and staff. I always follow the open door policy so please feel free to pop in anytime. My goal is for everyone to be happy and content and to achieve an outstanding rating with the CQC in the near future.

I have been a qualified nurse for over 20 years. I have worked in the UK for many years as a nurse and as the Deputy Manager for large nursing homes. I enjoy working in the care sector and being hands-on, where I can both nurture my team and deliver great outcomes for those we support
My passion is to always ensure that anyone in our care receives the highest standard of support, and I am excited that Barchester has given me the opportunity to do this.

Louisa Capaldi
I always said when I started working I wanted to have a rewarding job that puts a smile on people’s faces and makes their day just that little bit brighter! I started working in the care sector as a hospitality Assistant, and then became a carer and then the activities coordinator. I really enjoy getting the residents up and moving, and getting active. I enjoy learning new things about the residents and doing meaningful activities with them that they enjoy and benefit from.
Rostom Abidi
My name is Rostom Abidi. Over 20 years ago I moved to the UK from my home in Tunisia, where I trained as a chef in quality hotels.
My first job in the UK was as a kitchen assistant. During this time, I studied for my Level 2 and level 3 Professional Cookery Certificates. This has enabled me to progress to my current Head Chef position.
I joined Barchester in 2021 at Wimbledon Queens Court and have recently joined the team here at Epsom Beaumont.
I particularly enjoy baking and decorating cakes. I am passionate about providing good quality restaurant standard food for our residents.
