"My mam has settled well around staff who treat her with love and kindness. The management and staff have made the most difficult and distressing time of our (daughters) lives into a very bearable one. We always feel very welcome and very included. It is a very happy place to visit and we never feel unheard or ignored."

"Everything in the home is very good. Staff are excellent when I come to visit my mam. When asking for something to be done they do it (not straight away as there are other residents to see to) but you don't have to wait too long."

"I am only here at the home for a short time each day but what I see is that every one of the staff is in the right job, i.e. they are caring, hard-working, kind and thoughtful. The home itself is warm and welcoming and this again is all down to the staff."

"My sister has been in this home since November 2017. When looking for a home for her, on my very first visit on entering the building, I felt a warm, friendly, homely feeling and knew this was the place for her - and I was right. From management, carers, chef and kitchen staff, housekeeping, laundry and activities, everyone works as a team in a very friendly and caring way and at the same time with great respect to the residents. I am happy to leave my sister in their care."

"My mother is very happy in Harton Grange, she is well cared for and is served nutritious meals and plenty of snacks and cups of tea. The staff are very caring and always hand if needed. It wasn't easy agreeing to my mam living in a care home but as she was no longer able to look after herself this was the only option. I now realise this was the right decision as she is safe and contented."

"The staff who work here are fabulous they go above and beyond to help residents and relatives. Nothing is too much bother. From management, carers, kitchen, staff and cleaners. My mum is always clean and tidy. As is her room especially since a new carpet was put down. Staff keep on top of Mums washing (I don't know how with all the other things they have to do). All questions are answered honestly when I ring Mum is brought to the phone very quickly."

"My wife was admitted into Barchester Harton Grange Care Home in April 2022 on a six weeks respite. However, this was made permanent. At first, she was not happy there because she had never been in a home before. However, with the care and attention of the staff, she soon settled in. I do not know how many adjectives I can use about the staff but try caring, attentive, superb and brilliant. I remember the party they put on for Her Majesty's Jubilee was excellent. It was apparent they had worked hard to achieve the occasion's success. Anybody entering this home will be pleasantly surprised. Marks for the staff out of 100 must be at least 110."

"My mum who is 89, absolutely loves Harton Grange. Her ensuite room is lovely and always clean. The staff are always smiling and friendly and Mum loves the meals and activities. It's always a joy to see Mum's happy face. I would recommend Harton Grange to anyone in need of such a facility. There is excellent security with entry and each ward section is only accessible via a staff member's card."

"Was very disappointed that not one member of staff was there to represent the care home at my relative's funeral despite the fact that the crematorium was literally around the corner, I thought she was a much-loved resident of the home having been there many years. The home, when I visited, was lovely and the staff very caring so you can understand I found this very upsetting!"

"Could use many words and all extremely complimentary - the care given to my mum has been way beyond expectation. From management to entertainment, to chefs and all the angel carers. Fantastic and a credit to Barchester - Such a comfort to know Mum is in a home-from-home, only better. I notice the carers have a lot of paperwork, taking them away from residents - only negative."

"After living by himself for a number of years, my father asked to move into care. Since moving into Barchester Harton Grange Care Home, his overall well-being has improved tremendously. He feels sage and secure and has started to interact with others. The care home is spotless, well-lit and lovely and warm. The staff are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble and they are excellent with the residents. It is a huge relief to know he is safe, happy and contented."

"Absolutely fantastic experience since my great-nana came in. She is cared for well and it's clear how happy and comfortable she is. She is always telling us when she's had her hair done or sausages for breakfast. It's great to see her so content and doing so well at 101 and that's down to the staff here looking after her 24/7. Also to add, the the staff provide so much support to my nana and auntie, making sure they know exactly what is going on and take care of every detail. Seriously a 10/10 for them all."

"Harton Grange is a lovely home. It has plenty of staff who look after and care for Mam. There are plenty of activities for them to enjoy. A beautiful garden to sit in and enjoy the sunshine with ice cream. The entertainment is appreciated, they are very good at their job and the carers are very focussed on all residents."

"Barchester Harton Grange Care Home is excellent. A warm welcome always from all staff/manager. All staff are approachable with any queries the family may have. My father has only been here a short while. His Alziehmers is in the late stages now but he has settled in well. His previous care home was horrendous. At Harton Grange, they have activities on always throughout the week/weeks. Dad is reluctant sometimes to be washed and dressed but staff have already recognised when he is fully awake he's fine. So very happy that Dad is being cared for here, stress-free."

"My review of Harton Grange is that the staff and management are fabulous. They listen, they care and go beyond the call of duty. I feel safe that my father is cared for, he is well, has wonderful meals and is entertained. The day trips have been amazing and Dad was recalling (in his own way) how fantastic the museum day trip was, he loved it, loved the bus ride and enjoys the company. We as a family are very day surprised at the effort put in by staff, it's 5 stars. Very, very happy."

"After over sixty years of married life together I was dreading being apart from my husband. Harton Grange was recommended to me by a friend who had a family member at Harton Grange. I am absolutely delighted with the level of service by all the staff, the management, carers, cleaners, kitchen staff and maintenance team are so helpful and attentive to all the residents. It gives me great comfort knowing that my husband is in good hands and so well looked after."

"I cannot praise the staff enough for the care given to my mother. From the catering staff, laundry team, carers, entertainment team and senior managers, my mother is treated with immense respect, dignity and mostly love. She has made new friends and has a new outlook on life, which at 93 years old is so lovely to see. I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing facility and the people who work there. Thank you."
