Activities at Juniper House Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Life at Juniper House Care Home
Dogs for Good
We were out for morning coffee in our local coffee shop and guess who we bumped into: Dogs for Good, who were in training to work with people with disabilities in a busy area, although they did have time for a stroke and a bit of fuss!
Holy Communion
Once a month, the lovely and kind Anne from St Peter's Church comes to give residents Holy Communion and a short church service for all religions. Thank you again, Anne!
Artists at Work
Our art group got together in the morning and enjoyed painting geraniums with Annie.
Live Entertainment
Residents were entertained by the charming classical duo, Gytherie and William Patrick, who work for Music in Hospitals & Care.
Countryside Coffee
We enjoyed a drive through the beautiful countryside and called in at The Limes for cake and a coffee – lovely!
Out & About
Susan wanted to visit the area that her son had recently moved too, so we all decided to make a day of it by going around the lovely countryside then calling in at Skylarks for lunch. Thank you Susan for the idea!
