Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Christmas Party at Prestbury Beaumont
We had a very special Christmas Party this December with an amazing buffet prepared by our head chef! Later on in the afternoon Singer Colette Todd performed for us, music is a big part of our life enrichment programme here at the home! All our residents, friends, families and team had a fantastic day!
Gingerbread House Day
Today our residents were thrilled to take part in Barchesters Gingerbread House Decoration competition! Homes up and down the country are taking part in this fun filled competition and our residents had lots of fun decorating our Gingerbread house.
Intergenerational carols
Here at Prestbury Beaumont; we’ve had a busy day! We had some beautiful singing from a very special choir. We also had some beautiful Christmas cards from the children!
All of our residents thoroughly enjoyed their visit. We can’t wait to welcome you all back to our home!
We have some amazing photo booths, hand made by our very talented Gardening and Maintenance team. These will help us celebrate life to the fullest!
A very special advent
At Prestbury Beaumont we all love Christmas and we’re getting very excited for the big day, so the countdown has begun!
We’re counting down the days in a very special way as we have an advent calendar full of activities! Our team have added a surprise activity to each of the doors. It was very exciting as none of our residents know what to expect!
Birthday celebrations
Yesterday it was Margaret’s birthday! Our head chef made a delicious cake, and we all sang happy birthday! Birthday celebrations are an important feature in our varied life enrichment programme. Happy birthday Margaret from everyone at Prestbury Beaumont.
Virtual trip to the Donkey Sanctuary
Across our services, Residents enjoyed a fantastic virtual tour of the Donkey Sanctuary Manchester. Residents were thrilled to meet the lovely herd of donkeys, including Henry and his best friend Tiny Tim and to learn more about their every day care. They were introduced to the sanctuary’s work and the impact they make to the lives of donkeys in need worldwide. The virtual experience was truly enjoyed by all.
