Activities at Tandridge Heights Care Home
Our qualified and dedicated activities staff plan and implement all activities within the home. We try our best to arrange activities that reflect our residents interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can. We try to keep our residents active and happy.
Our activities include trips to garden centres, pubs, the cinema or the local theatre. We have many fun games like carpet bowls, Play Your Cards Right or armchair exercises. There are many musical events, singalongs, garden parties and tea parties for everyone to enjoy as well!
Kelly Sherwin
I started at Tandridge Heights in 2020. Previous to this, I have been working as a carer sine 2010, which has helped me to understand the needs, wants and the individuality of all of our residents.
My main responsibility is provide a varied and engaging activities schedule every day for our residents; this helps to keep them involved in social and uplifting activities. We love to have parties to celebrate birthdays, national days and special occasions.

Life at Tandridge Heights Care Home
Friendship Day
Tandridge Heights celebrated Friendship Day with a coffee morning. We also made some wonderful friendship bracelets which looked great on residents and staff.
Day Out at the Park
Tandridge Heights residents spent the sunny and beautiful day at the Priory Park in Reigate. It was a great day for a walk and cup of tea in the park.
Long Service Award
Head of Housekeeping, Jacqueline Pratley, celebrated her 10th year working at Tandridge Heights. We are all happy to have her here; the home would not be the same without her and we hope that she stays at Tandridge for many years to come.
Family BBQ
Tandridge Heights residents, families and staff celebrated a great score on our recent CQC inspection with an afternoon BBQ. Thank you very much to the kitchen staff for their hard work in preparing such delicious food and drinks - and thank you to everyone who attended. It was a big success.
Beaver Water World
Tandridge Heights took a trip to Beaver Water World in Tatsfield. It was great to see all the animals living there, which included turtles, meerkats, lemurs, snakes, lizards and variety of birds - and even an alligator!
Open Day at Tandridge Heights
Tandridge Height's open day started early in the morning with a lovely home-made jewellery sale and a singalong with Alan Fisher. In the afternoon, we had a high street tea party, but unfortunately, due to bad weather, we held it inside our lounge. Residents, families and staff had a great time. Thank you very much to the kitchen staff for preparing all the delicious food, cakes and drinks.
