Activities at Werrington Lodge Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Bake off Bill
Well bless my soul, Elvis getting resident Bill all shook up when he presented him with a Certificate for the Bake Off. Bill being an Arsenal fan couldn’t resist the label “Gunner win this Bake Off!”
Going the extra mile
Dan, 2nd Chef here at the home, always goes the extra mile, not only making sure that our residents are well hydrated in the heat but also making sure the birds aren't spitting feathers either!
Environmental Day
Residents were very proud of the water catchers they made for Environmental Day.
National Fish & Chip Day
Staff at Werrington Lodge joined residents to indulge in fish, chips and mushy peas for National Fish & Chip Day.
Ribbon Exercise
Our lovely volunteer had a lot of fun doing some ribbon exercises for the enjoyment of residents.
Senior Health & Fitness Day
Residents enjoyed some music and movement on Senior Health & Fitness Day.
