"My mother-in-law has been here since August and since then, we did not have any complaints. The staff are all very nice and helpful. They are looking after my mother-in-law very well, providing her food on time plus giving her baths whenever she wants. We are very thankful to all the staff for their hard work and comfort they provide to all the residents here. We are very satisfied with them."

"The staff are so welcoming and caring. My mother has received wonderful care in this home. I could not have asked for more. The nurses and carers are very attentive. They listen and advise. Any concerns were dealt with promptly and efficiently, and with kindness and compassion. I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to any prospective applicants."

"I would like to clarify my rating of poor. Carers, seniors, cleaners, handyman and entertainment excellent and certainly enhanced my 14 days. Nurses No. For three days I requested a nurse, dedicated carers were my messengers. It was only on the third day through the intervention of a friend that a nurse appeared. I shudder to think what my mental state would have been if my friend did not advocate. I found it humiliating to do so much chasing. I had had such high hopes of entering the Beaumont."

"My Mother was in Wimbledon Beaumont for two years. The care and love she received were always so good and the food excellent. The home went through a period of uncertain, even poor management, that led to staff shortages, but in the last year, a new manager came and has done a great deal to improve the morale of the staff, which in turn, was reflected in the love and care my Mother received, right up to the end of her life."

"I can't rate Wimbledon Beaumont highly enough. I knew that this was a first-class home from the moment we arrived when a group of carers came out to welcome my mother and help her out of the car. Never once during her two weeks respite did the care fall below excellent standards, from the silver service dining room to the friendly lounge, the wide range of activities and the personal care/attention. I was touched by the genuine love shown to each resident by the carers, they made the residents smile and feel safe. I would highly recommend Wimbledon Beaumont as a warm, caring, first-class home for the elderly."

"My wife has been most carefully nursed and cared for during the last month she has been here, recovering form a broken hip. The staff have been very kind and attentive and treated with respect, someone with poor hearing and memory loss and of considerable age."

"This first experience of respite care has been very positive and reassuring for us. Nothing was too much trouble for staff and we were particularly impressed that whoever we spoke to, from the receptionist to the manager, all were fully briefed of his situation. He felt very much seen, heard and cared for and it has given him confidence knowing there are others outside the home and family who can be relied upon should the need arise. Thank you one and all."

"My mum has been in this home since June. I viewed plenty before this one. When viewing I just thought this was the one and it felt so friendly and homely. The manager and her staff are very nice and you can phone and talk to any staff any time of the day. Any concerns are dealt with straight away excellent."

"Over the last 12 months, things have got better since the change of management. I have been very fortunate in having carers who have understood my special needs. They are sensitive to my feelings about being washed, becoming more disabled being slightly disheartened about my health. After 2 years I now feel Wimbledon Beaumont is my home and the other residents and staff feel like my extended family."

"My aunt has been in Wimbledon Beaumont for 4 months now and finds it quite satisfactory. She's just had her 100th birthday there and the home put on a good party. Food/meals there are excellent and she loves the chef! Although she doesn't take part in many of the activities are very good. The management are extremely helpful for all her and my requirements."

"My mother lives in one of the independent living flats and feels it's her home. She values the help and attention given by all the staff team. The new manager is excellent and takes interest in all residents. A very welcoming home, standard of services and activities cannot be faulted. Clearly the best home in Wimbledon and so glad it was recommended to me for my mother."

"Barchester Wimbledon Beaumont encompasses everything that is important in a care home. The staff have a genuine sense of commitment and compassion. The enthusiasm and family feel comes from the new manager who is professional, personable and successfully motivates staff who in turn work as a team and take pride in all they do. The home is clean and modern and the catering resembles a five-star establishment. I would thoroughly recommend the Beaumont."

"I live in a flat in Beech Court, the independent living block next door to the Beaumont nursing home. I particularly value the independence of living in my own flat while supported by the care facilities and resources of the Beaumont. I have always found the staff and services excellent and I greatly appreciate the personal interest which the Manager takes in the residents. I warmly recommend the Beaumont home and the associated Beech Court flats."

"This facility looked after my 98-year-old mother in the last days of her life. The care and concern shown were exemplary, even when family were present, the carers looked in very regularly to check her and to make sure the family was getting everything they needed. Following a very bad experience at another home, this home clearly showed what excellent care looked like. I have no hesitation recommending Wimbledon Beaumont."

"My husband was in respite care for two weeks in Beaumont Care Community. As the carer of my husband, I visited on a daily basis. He seemed very happy and well looked after. The atmosphere on entering was always welcoming, friendly and warm. All the staff I met at reception, carers, nurses, activities organiser and in the restaurant, also managers were welcoming and knew me and my name and of course my husband; all those factors helped towards a successful respite."

"I have been here for 6 months. The care has been excellent as has the food. I feel that at times there needs to be more caring staff as they are trying to get residents up and dressed and more staff are needed so that all residents can be seen quickly."

"As a friend of a Wimbledon Beaumont resident, I wanted to say thank you for the excellent care your staff provided recently during a health incident. The senior care assistant was both diligent and sensitive to the resident's anxieties and together with the nursing staff on duty that afternoon, the situation was dealt with in a calm and professional manner. At all times, I was kept informed of the situation and any decisions. I'm very grateful for such professional back up and would very much like to pass on my thanks to all those at Wimbledon Beaumont."

"My stepmother was transferred from hospital in the end stages of dementia. Her stay wasn't long - but the care she received was fantastic. She was treated with such care and dignity at the end of her life and we felt supported at this difficult time too."

"You hear so many horrid tales about care homes, so we were fearful when looking for a place for my mother-in-law. We needn't have worried at all because Wimbledon Beaumont is excellent in every aspect. The staff are lovely - so kind and helpful and they treat residents and visitors with enormous respect. The food is delicious. Cleanliness and standards of care are impeccable. The rooms are bright and well furnished. There are plenty of lounges and garden spaces. Activities abound, yet it is always a choice; nobody pressurises anyone to do anything against their will - nobody says you must join in. We're delighted that my mother-in-law is not lonely now. She chats easily to other residents, yet is able to spend plenty of time quietly on her own in her room. She's genuinely happy; I haven't seen her smile so much since her husband passed away more than four years ago. I'm sure this is largely due to the warm welcome she was given when she arrived at Wimbledon Beaumont and the fantastic care she is receiving there."

"My husband had come out of hospital and going back home was no longer viable. It was like a ray of light that the place came up, where they could deal with this particular set of medical problems. It is around the corner from home!"

"As to whether I would recommend Wimbledon Beaumont would depend on very in the financial availability of the person concerned and how would I know that!! I have found over the years that I have been visiting friends and sometimes the answering of the call bell has been somewhat slow and in some cases, I have ended up trying to find help. I have always found the staff including the manager very helpful and welcoming to visitors."

"I feel safe and secure in Wimbledon Beaumont and enjoy the privacy of my flat, which is light and airy, but also the ability to share meal times with other residents in the dining room. The staff are considerate of my needs, giving me help with washing, bathing and dressing every morning. My flat is kept clean and tidied. I can call on night staff if I need them. I am given the freedom to come and go as I please and the staff respect my independence but help with tasks I have difficulty with."

"I am nearly 98 years of age and have lived very happily at the Beaumont for eleven years. My room is my home and has everything I need. My only worry is the security during the early evening as when the receptionist leaves at five o'clock anyone could walk in for several hours until the excellent night security begins. One of my sons-in-law too mentioned this several times."
