Our staff are what will hold the home together. Each one of these team members will be dedicated to providing high quality care and services to those we support, and ensuring that residents enjoy all aspects of life at our home. 

Katie Wilkinson

General Manager

Hi, my name is Katie Wilkinson, and I am the General Manager safeguarding lead for Bayleaf. Welcome to our page!

I am extremely passionate about supporting and building the care team for Bayleaf following our life enrichment programme. I have worked in the care sector for 27 years in a variety of different roles: in nursing, residential care, learning disabilities and mental health and acquired brain injury. I have been a General Manager for over 10 years.

I believe strongly in collaborative care, working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals. My door is always open if I can be of any help with your care enquiry. Please do not hesitate to call or pop in for a coffee and a chat. I feel extremely passionate about welcoming families and supporting them through finding care for a loved one.

In my free time, I enjoy exercising and being outdoors.

Nadine Willerton

Home Services Advisor

My name is Nadine Willerton I am the Home Services’ Advisor here at Bayleaf. I have worked in Health and Social Care for 17 years, in various different roles such as Health Care Assistant, Pharmacy Manager, Trainer and Customer Relations Manager. Working in the community as well as Nursing and Residential Care Homes.

I am very excited to be working with the team to follow Barchester’s values and life enrichment programme. I have a passion for supporting our residents and loved ones to find the right care home and to support them on their journey being able to give advice where needed.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, we love to go to the beach!

Olivia Rumball

Home Administrator

I have been in administration for 10 years and it gives me great pleasure to be part of a team that concentrates on person centred care.  My role includes supporting residents and their families with any financial matters that may arise, this may be ordering a favourite newspaper or making sure a resident has their hair done and look extra special for a family event.  

My team and I will be some of the first people you meet when you come into the home.  We make a point of knowing all of the residents and their families and are look forward to welcoming you to Bayleaf. 

Darren King

Head of Maintenance

Hi my name is Darren King I am extremely excited and feel very proud to be part of Team Bayleaf as Head of Maintenance.  Whilst part of my role is compliance and health and safety I feel very passionate about supporting our future residents, following our life enrichment programme.

I have worked within the healthcare sector in Facilities/Maintenance for over 8 years.

I take pride in everything I do within the maintenance department ensuring that residents receive an outstanding service.

I really enjoy the engagements with residents, families and visitors to ensure they have everything they need.

One of my recent achievements is coming runner up in the category of Care Employee at the Caring UK Awards 2024, which was a really proud moment for me as a Maintenance Manager.

I have two children and have been married for over 20 years and during my spare time I enjoy sports, gardening and DIY.

I’m so looking forward to being part of Bayleaf and the journey of making memories with our residents.
