Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

I joined Barchester in November 2016 as an senior care assistant and in May 2024 I became the Activity Lead at Chorleywood Beaumont.
It is a joy to work with such a great team and nothing makes me happier to bring joy and laughter into our residents daily lives.

Here at Chorleywood Beaumont every birthday is a special birthday and we love to celebrate.
Ann is 85 years young and to mark the day Chef Callum and our team hosted a delicious brunch for her and her friends to enjoy in our private dinning room. There was a choice of a delicious cooked breakfast, pastries and fresh fruit's. Accompanied with fresh coffee, tea and a glass of fizz.
Ann's passion is singing, so as a surprise, Helen our life enrichment coordinator arranged and afternoon of a singing and entertainment. Guitarist Nick played a medley of tunes for us to sing along too and we all sang happy birthday while Ann blew her candles out on the beautiful cake made by our chef.
Happy Birthday Ann and thank you for sharing your special day with us.

At Chorleywood Beaumont Wednesday's are always a huge hit ! As that is when Suzy, our very own hairstylist visits.
Suzy offers residents a selection of treatments - cuts, colour's, perms and a fabulous wash and blow-dry. Available in our glamourous hair salon or the comfort of their room.
As a way of welcoming new residents, Chorleywood Beaumont offers residents a complementary cut and blow-dry and afternoon of pampering.

A beautiful morning for Chorleywood Beaumont to connect with our local community. We met in our court yard garden and enjoyed delicious pastries, bacon rolls with tea, coffee and iced juice, prepared by Chef Callum and his team. It was great to catch up and discuss ways of working together in the future.
General Manager Judith Boikhutso said "We are closely connected with our local community but we are always keen to build new relationships with local Professionals and look forward to forming links to support and complement each other'.

The residents and team members at Chorleywood Beaumont enjoyed a great afternoon of entertainment.
Fabulous live music and delicious refreshments listening to our favourite songs and some golden oldies. Such a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
Any one for tennis.
Anyone for tennis ? Chorleywood created its very own centre court to watch the tennis finals. A glass of sherry to toast the players and delicious strawberries and cream. What a fabulous afternoon and a thrilling match.
The Chess Championship at Chorleywood
Chorleywood Beaumont's chess teams are practicing for the big event on the 20th July! In order to mark International chess day at Chorleywood Beaumont, team members, residents and their family and friends will battle it out to see who the Chorleywood chess Champion will be.
