Activities at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate those we support by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular weekly outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre and Cathedral's as well as visits from PAT dogs, visiting zoos, musicians and entertainers. We also host evenings such as our Pizza & Quiz Night that we encourage relatives to come to. Activities are one of the most important aspects of a care home, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained, and that life at Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community is fun and active.

Our Glorious Gardening Club

Our green fingered gardening club Chris, Susan and Merriam work their magic in our beautiful garden. This time of year it is particularly glorious as it is full of colour and beautiful fragrance. Being in the  garden has many therapeutic benefits. Good accessibility to our garden enables residents to keep gardening and maintain an active lifestyle which supports their physical and emotional wellbeing. Our well planned garden forms part of a holistic treatment plan providing scope for physical exercise to help relieve tension and aid relaxation. There are plenty of places for reflection and privacy and the garden is a great space to spend time with family and loved ones. A lovely place to give a sense of serenity surrounded by nature.
