The Butterfly Effect
Residents at Kingsland House have spent the last two weeks tending to our caterpillars so that they grow into butterflies.
To add to this year’s butterfly count, we managed to produce six butterflies that we then set free into our beautiful gardens. Some wanted to stay a little longer than others and got comfortable on our residents' hands.
Tee Off
Residents at Kingsland House recently enjoyed creating their own golf course so that they were able to play their own pen championship golf tournament. The weather was perfect for the event!
Wimbledon Celebrations
Residents and staff at Kingsland House were at the ready for the start of Wimbledon on June 28th with delicious strawberries and cream, all washed down with a glass of Pimms, after watching the first few matches the residents requested that we create our own Wimbledon at Kingsland House which we did, we even had our own umpire.
This weekend they will put their rackets down to enjoy watching the Ladies’ Singles Final on Saturday along with the Gentlemen’s Singles Final on Sunday.
