Hi. My name is Mathan. I am the General Manager here at Kingswood Court. Welcome to our website.
With over a decade of experience in the care sector, I bring not only my expertise as a Registered Nurse but also insights from my tenure as a Senior Manager across various care settings.
Our dedicated team at Kingswood Court is united by a singular belief: It's not just about providing outstanding care—it's about recognising that for our residents, Kingswood Court is not just a care facility but their true home.
If you're curious about life at Kingswood Court or have any questions, I invite you to reach out to me directly or drop by for a visit. We promise there's always a fresh pot of coffee brewing and a slice of cake waiting for you.
Ugo Nwakwue
Hello, I am Ugo and I am the Deputy Manager here at Kingswood Court.
I started my care journey in 2006 when I was working as a nurse in critical care, I continued to work in this field until 2020 when I moved to Barchester Healthcare as a nurse and worked my way up to Deputy Manager.
Outside of work I enjoy taking part and training in sports like Karate and Tennis. I also like to help out in the local community and support different groups when I can.
Diya Roy
I have been working at Kingswood Court since early 2023. I am a unit nurse manager.
I really enjoy the connection I built with our residents and I am passionate about patient care. I like the dynamic of the team work and the relationships I get to build with our residents, their family and the health professionals.
Celestial Briones
I moved in to care because I wanted to do something more rewarding and challenge myself. I have worked in the care sector for 17 years and 5 ½ of them at Kingswood Court. I have also worked as a Unit manager at a previous care home before coming to this home.
Sarah Walton
I have been working at Kingswood Court for 3 years, first as a carer and since 2022 as an activity coordinator.
I really enjoy making a difference to our residents’ life and organising events and activities for them. I like to involve the local community in events within the home. Activities at Kingswood Court are very varied: entertainers, singers, gentle exercise, arts and craft, outings, and so much more!

Julie Baber
I’ve worked in the kitchen at Kingswood Court for 7 years and I’ve been working in catering for 20 years, during that time I have worked in a children's day nursery and another care home. I love being able to produce fresh, nutritious meals for our residents and it means a great deal to me that I can make a difference to the residents lives.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my husband, 2 children, 5 grandchildren and my boxer dog. I love the sun and try to get away whenever I can.
