Activities at Lawton Rise Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Life at Lawton Rise Care Home
Musical Moments with Anna
Musical Moments is a fantastic sensory activity, we have them in the home every other week, we always have so much fun with Anna and the residents always enjoy it! Anna sings, plays the violin and uses a lot of props to get the residents involved.
Pancake Day
On Tuesday the 25th we wanted to share Pancake Day with our family and friends, we invited them to come and join us for a morning of good food and fun! At Lawton Rise we want our family and friends to come and it feel like home for them too, we had lots of books and leaflets full of information on Alzheimer’s and Dementia for them to take away and if they have any questions our door is always open for them to come and speak to us.
Everyone involved said how much of a lovely morning it was and how they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
