Meet the Magnolia Court Care Home Team

Hello, I am John and I have been working at Magnolia Court since 2013. I trained as an Adult Registered Nurse which led to an opportunity to be a Unit Lead for our Memory Lane dementia community. This allows me to apply my nursing and management experience, caring for our residents and staff in all departments, giving me satisfaction with the support I am able to provide. I also enjoy giving my input in ways of leading the home toward providing an excellent service, enriching the lives of those who live here and those who work here too.

Aside from work, I play the guitar, support Tottenham Hotspur Football Team and enjoy walking my pug whose name is 'Pon', every day, which is a great comfort to me.

Hello, my name is Jurgita and I am a nurse and Unit lead at Magnolia Court. I have been here since 2014 and enjoy my work a great deal. I always try my best as a nurse and I strive to build a good relationship with residents, loved ones and colleagues. 

Hello, my name is Jocelyn and I am a Unit Lead here at Magnolia. Before I joined the home, I worked as a nurse and Unit Lead in another Barchester home, where I was awarded Employee of the Month for leading an enhanced dementia care pilot.

I am originally from the Philippines and worked as a qualified nurse in Saudi Arabia for 8 years before coming to UK in 2006. I am passionate about caring for those residents who are living with dementia and ensure the live fulfilled and happy lives. 

Hello my name is Flor and I am a Senior Registered General Nurse and Nutrition Champion at Magnolia Court. I started Barchester in 2012 as a student as part of the overseas nurses programme. I enjoy my role very much especially getting to know residents and their loved ones. I had a very close relationship with my grandmother and loved spending time with her. I am very happy as I now have an extended family with all my Magnolia Court grandparents.

Hello, I like to ne called Mimi and I have been working as an Activities Coordinator in care homes since 2002, starting my career at Four Seasons, then joining Barchester in 2014. I was awarded a Great British Care Award in 2013 and was a finalist at the National Care Awards in the same year, as well as being a finalist in the 2014 Great British Care Awards. I have a natural love for the elderly and enjoy every single day in their company.

Hello I am Tammie and I joined Barchester in December 2019 as an Activities assistant and in February 2022 I became the Activities Lead at Magnolia Court Care Home. I am passionate about my role at Magnolia Court, I am a people person and nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on our Residents faces. It is a joy to work with such a great team, I am very happy to be a part of team Magnolia and look forward to meeting you soon!

Hello I am Jacqueline and I joined the Magnolia Court Team in November 2024 as Head Chef.

I qualified as a chef at Hammersmith college in 1999. I had a love for cooking since I was a child,  my siblings and I helped our mum in the kitchen and as we grew up and took it in turns to cook to help our mum who was a nurse. 

During my career as a Chef I have cooked at a number of wonderful and interesting places such the BBC, Westminster Council and The Royal ballet. I had the pleasure of cooking for Darcy Bussell, The Lord Mayors and Princess Margaret.

I love cooking as it enables me to be creative and make people happy at the same time. I was inspired by my mum and always wanted to cook with in health care. I really enjoy meeting and getting to know residents. It makes me very happy to see the delight and enjoyment my food brings to people.

Hello, my name is Leon, and I am the Head of Maintenance here at Magnolia Court. I have worked for Barchester since June 2022 and enjoy helping people a great deal. I love being a part of the Magnolia Court family and getting to know resdients and their loved ones.

Hello, I am Diana and I joined Barchester in March 2020 where I enjoy getting to know our residents and I take great pride in keeping our lovely home sparkling clean! 

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and looking after my pet hamster ‘Bob’ and my tropical fish.

Hello I am Ben, I came to Barchester on work experience during the summer of 2019 and have since worked in front of house and administration in two of our Sister homes as well as Magnolia Court. Eventually, I'd like to be a Regional Administration and Finance Manager!

Hello, I'm Diana and I joined Barchester in May 2021.

I'm passionate about my role and really enjoy getting to know all of our residents and their loved ones.

Dionel and Erlinda are our Senior Care Assistants. Erlina has been working for us for over 20 years and Dionel since 2015. They both love to support residents and strive to give them the highest quality of care possible.
