Meet the Milford House Care Home Team
Our wonderful team comprises nurses, carers, activities coordinators, chefs, housekeepers and more. These people are here to ensure that residents enjoy their time at the home and are supported to live life to the fullest. Meet some of our staff below:
Agnieszka Musial
Hello. My name is Agnieszka Musial and I am the General Manager here
at Milford House.
Welcome to our website. My aim is to ensure residents, staff, families
and visitors all feel they are welcome in our caring environment and
feel supported by every member of our team.
I have been working in the Health and Social Care Sector for the past
15 years, with my passion lying in dedicated and personalised care for
the elderly. This is what I believe makes Milford House different to
every other nursing home. Every day, my team and I strive to make a
difference in our resident's lives and we are proud of what we are able to achieve for our residents and their loved ones.
My door is always open and I look forward to sharing a cup of tea and
some of our lovely homemade cake with you!
Juliana Santos
Juliana is a RN with 6 years of experience at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey and is now looking to support General Manager, Aga and the wider team in her role as Deputy Manager. Having been involved with patients in a hospital setting she has now translated her experience of working with the elderly into a care setting. Juliana loves getting to know our residents and working with them and their families and with the teams in the home to provide them with the best possible experience.
When not at work Juliana loves nothing more than spending time with her family and fitting in her other passions which are travel and ballet which she has done for 10 years.
Josipa Cafuk
With 22 years of experience as an RN, five of which have been at Milford, Josipa is excited to be taking up the role of Clinical Lead. With a passion for elderly care, Josipa will be bringing all her skills to the role and will be supporting residents, their families, staff teams and visiting professionals in her role.
She says there is nothing she wants more than to work to ensure that the residents we look after receive the best possible care and support and to bring a smile to their faces.
Josipa lives in Salisbury and when not at work is busy supporting her family and so says she really has two full-time jobs and loves them both!
Louise Butler
Louise is a very long-standing member of our staff team and has already celebrated an amazing 25 years at Milford and counting! Louise is dedicated to ensuring that she and her team provide the best possible care for the residents that are in their care.
Catriona Murray
With 10 years of prior experience in an Administrator role we are delighted that Catriona has joined our office team. Catriona loves working in the care environment and getting to know residents and their families and supporting them in whatever way she can. She can be found in our front office and is always available to answer any queries.
Jan Shaw
Following a career in retail, Milford is delighted to welcome Jan to the Activities team. Jan was born in Scotland but has lived in Salisbury since she was five, so she definitely counts as a local girl! Jan loves chatting to people, entertaining and making people feel at home, as well as preparing endless cups of tea – a vital attribute for life at Milford House. Jan is enthusiastic about bringing a varied activities programme to those we support.
Kevin Oborne
With 45 years of experience in the catering and hospitality industry Kevin heads up the chef and kitchen team at Milford House. Kevin is passionate about delivering a delicious and nutritious range of menus for our residents both on a daily basis and for our special events where he looks forward to getting creative. Leading our talented team Kevin will be ensuring that Milford's reputation as the home of delicious cakes is maintained!
Liang Guo
Liang has been at Milford for 14 years and has been a key part of the domestic team prior to being appointed Head Housekeeper. Liang says that he likes everything about his job and is committed to ensuring that he and the laundry and domestic teams provide an excellent service to our residents. Since coming from China, Liang and his family have always lived in Salisbur and when not at Milford Liang enjoys taking them to explore different parts of the UK.
Kelly Miller
Kelly has worked at Milford House since 2006 in a variety of roles and is now a full time member of the office team. She is a fountain of knowledge concerning all things Milford and if we don't know where to find something or what to do, she usually has the answers! When not at Milford, Kelly likes to take the odd quick trip to Spain to recharge her batteries, and her favourite Milford job is organising the Christmas party.
Ann Brown
Ann is one of our Senior Sisters as well as one of our longest serving staff members having worked as part of the night team for 28 years. Ann has always worked nights and says that days have never tempted her as, in her role as Senior Night Sister, she gets to know all the residents in the home, can help wherever needed and is very hands on. Ann has a wealth of experience and is a hugely valued member of our Milford family and thankfully for us has no plans to retire any time soon!
Gale Louw
Gale joined the Milford team in 2019, initially as a carer but has gradually transferred over to the Activities Team where she is now the full time Coordinator. Gale has a passion to create a comprehensive and inclusive programme of vibrant events for residents, family
members and friends to enjoy and, along with the rest of team, ensure that each resident is able to participate in meaningful activities tailored to their likes and dislikes.
Originally from South Africa, when not at work Gale loves nothing more than exploring the UK, catching up with family and friends, being creative across a variety of disciplines and keeping her eyes out for great activities and events she can bring back to the home for
residents to enjoy.
Gary Penfold
With 11 years of experience in the maintenance field Gary has joined Milford House to support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring that everything in the home runs smoothly and is kept looking nice. Gary was previously at our sister home The Cedars just down the road and so has not moved far to join the team.
