Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello. I am Jackie, the Lead Activity Co-Ordinator at Moreton Hill. I have worked for Barchester for over 10 years. Now, together with my team and the staff at our beautiful home, our aim is to help all residents live life to the best they can by bringing meaningful and enriching activities into their lives.

Show and Tell with St Josephs Catholic Primary School
What an amazing experience for our residents today with some of the pupils from St Josephs Catholic Primary School for show and tell. Some interesting items and great topics for conversation.
Beautiful music from a professional harpist
A professional harpist visited Moreton Hill Care Centre. Playing in the stunning dining room, with the rural view as a backdrop, it was a powerful music experience for all the residents and visitors.
Woolly Wednesday at Moreton Hill
Woolly Wednesdays at Moreton Hill where the residents can knit or make pom-poms for breast cancer awareness. All groups welcome to come along!
The Pianist
A local schoolgirl visited and put on a wonderful piano performance for residents here at Moreton Hill.
Networking for Nurses
Clinical Advisors from Urgo Medical came in to host a training session on wound care for local nurses as part of our 'Networking for Nurses' initiative.
School Visit
Joan enjoyed a chat with one of the pupils from St Joseph's School. The children stopped by as part of their show & tell session. We had 12 different kids join us for the morning and everyone had a great time.
