Jacquie Hayhoe
Hello My name is Jacquie and I am a Community lead at Mortain Place .
I joined Mortain Place in 2021 as a carer and have been here for two years. My background is in business however I cared for my husband who had Multiple Sclerosis for 10 years and who sadly passed away three years ago.
Not wanting to return to the business world, I found myself wanting to use all the skills I had amassed along with my transferable skills from my previous career in business and start a new career as a carer. I fell in love with care immediately and have gone from strength to strength in this amazing home.
We have the most fantastic residents and amazing carers and lots of encouragement, support and amazing training from the management team both from Mortain Place and Barchester. Commitment and hard work is rewarded at Barchester and if you strive to be the best you can everyday, to both your team and most importantly the residents then you can have the most rewarding and fulfilling career
