Lisa Peart

Activities Coordinator

Hello, I'm Lisa, and I joined the team here at Plas Y Dderwen, in November 2022. With over a decade of experience in the care sector since 2009, I'm deeply passionate about working with people and making a positive impact on their lives.

I've always had a love for creativity and find joy in bringing smiles to others. My focus is on designing person-centered activities that are not only meaningful but also enrich the lives of our residents, creating moments of fun and fulfillment.

Activities and Events Partnerships

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Our Manager takes on a Skydive!

Staff and residents marked Dementia Action Week which took place from 15 – 21 May. The Manager, Sharon Herbert took on a Skydive on 20th May in Swansea, to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society and our residents’ fund, where she managed to raise over £1200.

General Manager, Sharon Herbert, said: “I wanted to take on this challenge of a Skydive because Dementia affects many of our residents. Person-centred care is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to provide an environment that helps residents to find their way around independently as much as possible, and that residents are happy to call home. Raising this money will help us to begin work on our Memory Lane garden as well as helping Alzheimer’s Society”
