Activities at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community
Good Friday
We had a visit from Deborah who got us singing along to tunes old and new. Lots of fun was had by all!
Charity Fundraising
We made coffee and cakes and raised money for £25 to help support Ghana children from Ghana. This was in conjunction with the Prestbury Methodist Church, who have already helped 20 children. We will hold more coffee morning together to increase awareness of this great cause.
Film & TV of the Ages
We were recently joined by Mary de Ville, who gave us an insight into films and TV shows from the 1940s and '50s with photos slides, poems and music. We had a great afternoon singing along to those memorable tunes.
Fundraising Fun
We met up with members of the community to raise money for local charities. Residents joined the group for tea and cakes before touring the produce stands. It was a great opportunity to meet with old friends and make new ones.
Valentine's Day
Everyone received a delicious chocolate heart for Valentine's Day, which went down well with some champagne, as you can see.
Shopping Trip
Every week, residents venture out into town to go shopping. Most recently, they went to a John Lewis store. Here are Ivor and Ruth ready to get on the minibus, enjoy the drive and then flash the cash.
