Activities at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community
One Man Show
A wonderful afternoon was had when John Whalley brought his famous one man show about the life of George Formby to Prestbury. John treated us to many George Formby favourites and played them on one of George's very own ukuleles. We all had a try at playing, but it's not as easy as it looks!
Afternoon Outing
An afternoon outing to a local beauty spot attracted lots of feathery friends. These outings will continue throughout the spring and summer months. This is one of our favourite destinations.
A Cause for Celebration
Resident, Paula, recently celebrated her birthday here at Prestbury in the company of her family. She enjoyed a birthday lunch in the dining room, along with two birthday cakes!
The Stroking of the Lambs
We took the minibus to our local lambing sheds where we met and stroked some newborn Jacob's lambs. These lambs were a special breed, known for their patterned tight wool fleeces that are loved by artisan weavers across Cheshire.
Entertainment Accordion to John
We were royally entertained by John Jones MBE on his Italian accordion recently. John has been playing in the local hospital for over 30 years, amassing a great deal of money for local good causes.
Out & About
When the weather was kind to us, we took a short drive to Redesmere to feed the many ducks and geese that frequent the lake.
