Activities at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community
Zoolab
Residents had an interesting afternoon when Zoolab came to visit. Rats, snakes and spiders were passed around for cuddles and inspections. We were pleased to see them and even more pleased to see them tucked up safely in their boxes.
Prestbury in Bloom
Grown by our gardening team, these fine lilies have really blossomed into magnificent specimens, which have brought delight to residents.
Prestbury Beaumont has always been known for its beautiful surroundings and prize winning blooms.
Musical Afternoon
Prestbury-based music student, Holly, came to entertain us this week. Studying music at Cardiff University, Holly performed a beautiful set of songs, accompanied by her guitar. Everyone sang along, even to tunes made famous by Bob Dylan!
Canal Cruise
Our long-awaited canal boat cruise was a great success! The four hour journey took us through the beautiful Cheshire countryside with views of the Pennines and Cheshire plains. We stopped for fresh fish and chips at lunch time before setting off back home, spotting ducks and herons on the way.
Chocolate Party
Chocolatier, Oliver Dunne, came to Prestbury Beaumont recently to host a chocolate party afternoon for residents. After a talk about the history of the science of chocolate, Oliver let us create our own chocolate treats. Needless to say, everyone enjoyed the afternoon - so does that mean that chocolate is good for you?
Sue the Saxophonist
We recently invited Sue the saxophonist to play for us. Here she is in the residents' lounge, where she played many of our favourite melodies.
