Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Did somebody say Shortbread?!? Our residents in our Memory Lane community at Ritson Lodge absolutely love Home Baking Club and Chef Camelia was on hand to ensure that the tasty treats today turned out just right in time for Afternoon Tea!
Pimms and Pizza Bank Holiday Fun
What better way to spend a Bank Holiday afternoon than having a delicious Glass of Pimms and some tasty Pizza?!?!
Iris and Sylvia certainly enjoyed the Pimms and the Pizza was certainly a hit too whilst Wendy and Francis showed off their fantastic Darts skills.
Alas, nobody scored a Bullseye but everyone agreed it sure was a superb way to spend a relaxing Bank Holiday afternoon!
Art & Crafts with Creative Mojo
Our residents’ love Art and Craft sessions here at Ritson Lodge when Creative Mojo visit. During this particular session we were exploring and finding inspiration from the work of contemporary artist - Yayoi Kusama and in particular Polka Dot Art.
It really was a fun session and our residents’ created some super pieces of Art and are very much looking forward to their next session too!
Flower Arranging and Display Presentation

Aquapainting Session
Aquapaints are a painting activity using water that activates a beautiful picture to appear! It is a unique painting activity specially developed for people with cognitive loss.
