Our staff are what hold the home together. Each one of these team members are dedicated to providing high quality care and services to those we support, and ensuring that residents enjoy all aspects of life at our home. See below to meet some of our friendly faces:
Charlotte Nurse
Hi, my name is Charlotte and I am the Senior General Manager here at Scarborough Hall. Welcome to our website!
Thank you for taking the time to look further into what we have to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to look at some of our staff team in the home, who all play a vital role in day-to-day life.
I have worked in the home as the manager since 2008, I commissioned the home and have grown it with the team into the home it is today.
I started in care 25 years ago and worked myself up from a support worker through to manager. I am very passionate about ensuring the residents receive the best care, experience.
I work with a long standing supportive team who aim to achieve the best for the home.
I look forward to welcoming you to our home.
Charrdi Galway
I have worked at Scarborough Hall since July 2008. I'm here to support everyone where I can, as well as all the other day-to-day tasks that need to be completed to ensure a good quality service is delivered to our residents. I work closely with the homes General Manager to ensure the delivery of quality care for our Residents.
I love every aspect of my role, and enjoy being with all my work colleagues; we are like one big happy family at Scarborough Hall. We deal with any hurdles together like a good team should.
Michelle Hall
I have worked at Scarborough Hall since November 2008, I started as a Care assistant, senior care assistant, Team leader and now I am head of care.
I work closely with the senior general manager and deputy general manger to ensure good quality of care is given to your loved ones.
I love my role and everything it entails, no two days are the same. I like to know I’m helping residents and reassuring their relatives as much as I can, from personal experience I know moving to a care home is a very daunting experience for all involved but I like to help make the process as easy as possible.
We are one big family at Scarborough hall.

Becky Crimlis
In October of 2024 I will have worked for Scarborough Hall since 2012. I began my employment as a housekeeper before transferring onto the care team where I progressed as a Senior and then onto my current role as Team Leader.
I am responsible for leading the team on the Sitwell Suite, which includes liaising with family members and management as well as ensuring there is a positive atmosphere felt throughout the home.
I wanted to work at Scarborough Hall as I was looking for a new and challenging adventure, I had heard how rewarding care work was and have never looked back since.
I am passionate about helping to ensure the residents enjoy a good quality of life, my favourite aspect of my role is when I get the opportunity to be involved when the residents do activities. I also love contributing my baking skills for events.
Liz Boustead
I began working at Scarborough Hall in November 2013 as the weekend receptionist, moving to admin assistant and now administrator. My job entails liaison with various people such as the local authority, families and health workers, helping to keep administration of the home running as smoothly as possible.
There is a close team here at Scarborough Hall with many staff having been here since I started. You can have a laugh with staff and residents which makes for a great place to work. No day is the same.
Jessica Larkin and Skigh Harrison.
We would like to welcome you to our activities team, Jessica Larkin and Skigh Harrison. Each coordinator started as carers in the home and they have worked together as an activities team for a number of years.
They are passionate about their role and providing the best for the Residents in the home, they enjoy finding new ways to of engaging and creating real and meaningful connections with the residents, through Resident centred 1-2-1 sessions, group activities, interesting outings and close links with our local communities.
Iain Calope-Crossland
I have worked at Scarborough Hall since April 2013 in the role of head chef . I started my catering career at the age of 16 working in a local hotel for over 10 years starting out as commis chef working my way up to second chef.
In 1999 I transferred into social care working with Learning Disabilities and teaching them basic cooking skills. After 16 years in Social care I decided to take a break and managed a restaurant kitchen.
Realising I missed social care I joined Scarborough Hall. I enjoy every aspect of my role and developing menu’s with the residents input which the residents enjoy.
Jon O'Connor
I joined Scarborough Hall in October 2021 having previously run my own business and worked in education for 17 years.
I have always enjoyed practical work and problem solving so the everyday task undertaken here are very interesting and varied. My main role is to ensure the home environment is well maintained, warm and safe. I always try and achieve this respectfully, with a friendly smile and good humour.
It’s great being part of such a friendly and supportive team.
Tanya Adcock
Hi, my name is Tanya and I have worked at Scarborough Hall for 12 years. Myself and my team of housekeepers and laundry staff strive to make the home look and feel as clean, tidy and presentable as possible to ensure that our residents are happy and comfortable at all times.
I enjoy my role and like spending my time here at Scarborough Hall interacting and getting to know the residents in our care. It is a wonderful place to work.
Karen Hemming
I started at Scarborough Hall in March 2022 as Admin Assistant, and as well as being in Reception I meet & greet family and visitors to the home. I also provide support to the home’s Administrator, liaising with families and medical professionals are just a few of my many roles. I love chatting to residents and families and getting to know them.
I have worked in various aspects of care for nearly 10yrs now, starting off as a support worker in supported living, rehabilitation for the elderly in a care home and also residential care. Along with that I have many years of admin experience in a variety of roles. Being able to put my skills to good use at Scarborough Hall has given me a job I love.
Everyone at Scarborough Hall is friendly and we all help each other and support our residents and their families as much as we can. Being able to work with a great staff and management team makes coming into work a pleasure.
Julie Goodison
My name is Julie and I have enjoyed my role here at Scarborough Hall since 2012, I have worked my way up to the Senior carer position.
My key responsibilities include; creating a calm and soothing envirment for residents and colleagues, administering medication, making phone calls and ensuring the general wellbeing and safety of those we care for.
I wanted to work at Scarborough Hall is it is very local to where I live, I have a naturally caring nature so looking after people comes very organically to me.
I have found great passion for my role when I contemplate my Father’s favourite quote “always treat people how you would want to be treated”.
Casey Thompson
I’m Casey and I’ve worked here at Scarborough Hall as a care assistant since 2022.
My main responsibilities are assisting residents with all aspects of care which includes getting them washed and dressed, assisting with meals and making sure they are happy and safe at all times.
I wanted to work here as I have always wanted to make a difference to people’s lives and I find that looking after people feels very rewarding. My passion comes through when I am able to empower people to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.
I get to work with great team members, lovely residents and supportive management every day!
Wendy Kay
My name is Wendy and I have been employed at Scarborough Hall since 2011. I am currently working in the house keeping department but have enjoyed a variety of roles during my employment including care assistant, senior care assistant, kitchen assistant, hostess and reception.
At present my role includes keeping everything clean and tidy and I am responsible for appropriate infection control practise.
The thing I love the most about my job is getting to know the residents.
