Meet the Stoneham Grove Care Home Team

Hello my name is Nicola and I am the Deputy Manager at Stoneham Grove. 

I have been a proud Barchester team member for 10 years. My specialisation has been in Dementia care and mental health care, for both of which I have had a passion since I was young.

My career has led me to be a part of extraordinary teams, that have helped make a difference in hundreds of lives. Along my journey, I have been fortunate enough to be named Dementia care champion of the year both regionally and nationally. I have also been named regional frontline leader of the year.

I am looking forward to helping Stoneham achieve great things over the coming years, and I can’t wait to meet our residents and help them to achieve maximum life enrichment.

Hello, my name is Louise, I am the Administrator for Stoneham Grove. 

I am proud to be part of a great team within our home. I joined Barchester in July ready for our home to open in December and am very excited to be part of a new build. I have worked in the private care sector for 12 years, working my way from Receptionist, Admin Assistant and now Administrator. 

I love my role as no two days are the same, I also get to communicate with the residents and their families. I am lucky that being the Administrator I get to liaise with all departments. I am friendly, approachable and love to learn new things.

I have three grown up children and one grandson. I enjoy family time as well as walking, dining out and going on cruises.  

Hello, my name is Iuliana and I'm Activities Lead here at Stoneham Grove.

I worked as a History Teacher for 12 years before joining Barchester in 2017.  

I am passionate about my job and I love working with people. I enjoy planning and providing meaningful activities that make a difference in the lives of our residents, counting their hobbies and wishes.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling, dancing, quizzing and playing board games with my  family and friends.

I am looking forward to using my skills and experience to enhance the lives of our wonderful residents.
 

Hello, my name is Peter and I am the Head Chef at Stoneham Grove.

I have worked in hospitality & catering for over 30 years & have a wealth of knowledge & experience in cooking.  I am passionate about all aspects of the food I make. 

I really enjoy baking and decorating cakes to give the "wow" factor. I always want to give the best culinary experience I can, meeting the dietary & nutritional needs of all.

I am thoroughly looking forward to welcoming our residents to Stoneham Grove. Supporting their nutritional needs and requirements whilst giving them delicious meals daily is what I most excited about. 

Hello, my name is Luke. I am the Head of Maintenance at Stoneham Grove.

I have worked my way up from Maintenance Assistant to Maintenance Manager. I am proud to be part of Barchester, and looking forward to what the future holds. 

I really enjoy working within the care sector and meeting new people. I always try my best at what I do, and feel that I have made a difference to someone's day when I see them smiling.  I’m a friendly person, and like spending time with the residents when I can. 

In my own time, I enjoy a spot of fishing at local fisheries and spending time with my wife on our holidays. 

Hello, my name is Edina and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Stoneham Grove. 

I have previously worked in 4-5 stars Hotels as a Housekeeping Manager and I believe my experience and knowledge will compliment this wonderful team and benefit our residents.

I am very excited to get to know all our new residents and their loved ones. I love new challenges and I am looking forward to this new chapter of my life working in this beautiful home. 

I have an 11 year old daughter who is my world. We like to travel as much as we can or just spend a lazy weekend on the sofa watching movies.

Hello, my name is Marie and I am the Administration Assistant at Stoneham Grove.

I have a wealth of administrative experience, previous roles have included working for large global companies and more recently working within a private ambulance company. 

I am really excited to join the Barchester team and getting to know the residents and their families. It brings me joy to know I will have a daily impact and be part of enriching our residents lives. 

In my spare time,  I enjoy gardening, listening and dancing to music, walking my dog and family time! 

Hello, my name is Courtney and I am a senior carer at Stoneham Grove. 

Before becoming a carer I was a waitress within fine dining restaurants, winning an award at the Thames hospitality awards. I cared for my grandmother for over a year and this ignited my passion for care and the elderly. 

I am currently studying health and social care at Newbury college and I am loving growing my knowledge. I am really looking forward to supporting our new residents, meeting their loved ones and working along side this wonderful team and in such a beautiful home. 

I have 2 beautiful children. When I am not working I am spending time with them, whether we are on an adventure walk or having a crafts day. 

Hello, my name is Kerry and I am a Hostess at Stoneham Grove.

I am proud to have joined this wonderful team and I am extremely excited to meet and get to know our residents and their loved ones. Stoneham Grove is a beautiful home and an environment I am glad to be working in.

I decided to join the care sector after seeing both my parents being so well looked after in their care home. I had a very positive experience and am happy to be part of someone else's positive experience now. 

I have a lovely family and 2 Bulldogs (who rule my house) I love meeting up with friends and being outside with the dogs.

Hello, my name is Donna and I am a Care Assistant at Stoneham Grove. 

I have been working as a care assistant for 3 years however this is my first time working for Barchester. I am married with 1 daughter and 2 crazy Bengal cats. My interests are mainly arts and crafts, I will spend hours making things and forget about everything else. I also enjoy winding down with friends.

I have 19 years experience in the healthcare industry. This began in the Philippines where I worked as a staff nurse in a family hospital after receiving my degree in nursing. I moved to England in 2009, I continued to study and work as a senior carer. 

I really enjoy looking after people, supporting residents and their loved ones is something that brings me pleasure. I am so excited to have joined this team and really look forward to helping our home come to life.
