Activities at Windmill Manor Care Home
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Life at Windmill Manor Care Home
Valentine's Day
The Titsey Rotary Club marked the occasion by providing afternoon tea with homemade cakes and scones for the residents of Windmill Manor. Residents enjoyed a talk and slide-show featuring historic pictures of Hurst Green and Oxted, as well as a singalong, arranged by Titsey members and friends. Residents and Windmill staff were presented with red roses to round off the day.
Rhyme Time
Wendy from St John's Church has organised 'Rhyme Time', which will take place once a month at either Windmill Manor or the church, and will give residents the opportunity to chat to local mums, have a singalong and play with their little visitors.
Christmas Party
We had another party with lots of singing and dancing. Residents, relatives, friends and staff members were all up on their feet enjoying themselves.
Zoolab
Zoolab stopped by in December, bringing in a number of exotic animals, which we could hold and stroke. It was also interesting to be told some really fascinating stories about them.
Christmas Lunch Outing
Over 50 residents and many of their loved ones joined us for our Christmas lunch outing this year to the Grasshopper Inn. Everyone enjoyed a three-course Christmas meal at a beautiful set-up at this local Tudor building.
