Meet the Woodside House Care Home Team

Our staff are what hold the home together. Each one of these team members are dedicated to providing high quality care and services to those we support, and ensuring that residents enjoy all aspects of life at our home. See below to meet some of our friendly faces:

Sarah Robertson

General Manager

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am the General Manager here at Woodside. Welcome to our website!

I am an experienced nurse and care home manager, having spent many years with both the NHS and Barchester. I love working for Barchester and leading the team at Woodside House in the care and support of residents to provide first class service that meets their individual needs. We have a truly lovely home and a fantastic team.

My vision is to create a 'home from home' environment, where residents are actively involved in organising events, making decisions, and planning their care.

Our door is always open to visitors who want to experience our family-friendly atmosphere and I am always ready to speak to anyone who is starting to explore their future care needs.

David Leaper

Deputy Manager

My name is David and I joined the team in 2024. I feel privileged to be the Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead for Woodside House.

I have been a nurse for more than 20 years, spending most of my time working in community nursing services throughout Norfolk. I have a wide range of experience both clinically and in leadership and try to foster a friendly and approachable manner in my daily work. Having trained in Suffolk, I obtained my nursing diploma, then obtained a first-class degree in Primary Care Nursing through the UEA.

I am passionate about providing person-centred nursing care, and hope to support this as a core ethos in the home, ensuring that the people we care for, and their relatives and advocates are listened to and included when planning the care that we deliver.

I welcome feedback from anyone who can support me and the team to provide outstanding care to the people we care for. Please feel free to come along and have a look at what we do to support people here at Woodside House.
