Activities at Bamfield Lodge Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

BBQ

On the 9th July we held a Meet the Manager event, where lots of local people came to meet Kelly Irwin, and see our beautiful home. As the weather was set to be so beautiful, in tandem we held a big BBQ for all relatives and residents, staff and children of the home, to bring together that sense of community spirit. We had Minicomms in to sing to us, and there was plenty of pimms and home cooking enjoyed. A really enjoyable day.

Creepy Crawley Visit

Our residents met some exotic animals. All of them loved it and were very brave holding some of the spiders and preying mantus. Some residents preferred to look from afar, and there was much fun and laughter from everyone.
