Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Lucy Lock
Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!

Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home
A Thank You Card
One of our team, Ioana, received a lovely card from a resident, thanking her.
Part of the card reads;
“thank you for being such a bright light and making my move here last week such a joy after long stay in hospital”
All our staff go above and beyond for our residents and its when we receive little messages like this, that makes us remember why we do what we do!
Pet Appreciation
We are blessed to have staff and families of our residents bring in their pets so everyone can enjoy a cuddle. Residents loved meeting Betty and Milly, and look how happy the dogs are about it!
Harpist Performance
Our residents enjoyed listening to the very talented harpist Lizzy Bennie. Lizzy was also kind enough to bring her lap harps so the residents can have a practice on and of course Lynnette couldn't resist having a go at the large harp. Move over Lizzy there are new harpists in town!
Thank you so much Lizzy for coming to Beaufort Grange.
Chocolate Cake Day
Not that we need an excuse to eat chocolate cake, but today is Intetrnational Chocolate Cake day, which was the perfect excuse to bake a delicious Chocolate Cake! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cake with zero guilt!
Out and About
Stoke Park Estate have recently added a new accessible pathway so we have been taking residents out for walks when the weather is lovely. This is a beautiful green fields filled with lovely views, wildlife and rich with history. Here is Don enjoying the views.
Merry Christmas from Beaufort Grange
We wish you a Merry Christmas from all of us at Beaufort Grange.
