Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Lucy Lock
Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!

Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Elf Day
To kick off the Christmas spirit staff and residents dressed up as Christmas Elves to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. It brought a lot of Christmas cheer to residents and their families. We would also like to thank our local Co-operative for their donation.
A visit to Whitehall Garden Centre
Residents enjoyed a visit to Whitehall Garden Centre. They enjoyed looking at all the beautiful Christmas decorations followed by a mince pie and cup of tea.
Rated 'Good' by the CQC
We are pleased to announce that we received a 'Good' rating from our CQC inspection. Our staff enjoyed a small celebration for their hard work.
A Visit to Clifton RFC
Brian is a big fan of Clifton RFC and being a stalwart and Clifton legend for more than 50years, a former president of Gloucestershire RFU and a key member of the Bristol Rugby Combination, his attendance was warmly greeted by many former members and friends. His picture even ended up in the local paper.
Kelly’s Donkeys
Our residents and staff enjoyed a visit from Kelly’s Donkeys. As you can see our activity assistant Dan developed quite a friendship with Barney.
Stoke Park Estate
John enjoyed the scenery at our local park, Stoke Park Estate, which is only a short walk from our care home. It has recently been developed so it is more accessible for wheelchair users, we cannot wait to have some trips here next year.
