Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Lucy Lock
Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!

Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Victory Rollers
What a great morning we had with Victory Rollers coming in to entertain us; residents enjoyed a singalong and plenty of waving of flags in time with the music. We look forward to welcoming Victory Rollers into Beaufort again soon.
Employee of the Month - October
Callam, who is part of our activities team, has deservedly won Employee of the Month for October. Callam is a real asset to Beaufort Grange and works incredibly hard to do anything that he can for everyone we support. Well done, Callam!
Halloween
Residents loved having the staff bring in their little ones to trick or treat. Considering it was supposed to be a scary event, there sure was a lot of smiles all round.
Barchester's 25th Anniversary
Residents, families and the locals from our retirement village enjoyed our afternoon of entertainers who came to sing and play instruments for us. Everyone had a good singalong and gave a good shake of the maracas.
Training highs!
Beaufort Grange is a winner for the highest levels of training in the division, what a great effort made by all of the team!
Zoo lab comes to visit!
Here we have our activities co-ordinator, Callam, with just one of the many reptiles that visited us in the home, our residents loved the millipedes and bird eating spiders!
