Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Lucy Lock
Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!

Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Big Breakfast
And the next morning Beaufort Grange hosted a big breakfast. Our chef and staff served hot and cold breakfasts in their pyjamas along with a quiz to wake everyone up for the weekend!
Rock n Roll
Beaufort Grange enjoyed a Rock n Roll themed day on Friday 17th June. Residents and staff dressed up in crazy outfits, rock n roll picture quizzes took place and in the afternoon we enjoyed singing and entertainment with hotdogs and chips served in cones.
Pop in to see more pictures of the fun around the home.
The Queen Turns 90!
Residents and staff at Beaufort Grange recently celebrated the Queen's Birthday with an in-door picnic, boozy sherry and a sumptuous cake made by our Chef and Activities Team.
Residents Doing Amazing Things In Life!
Pictured is Greg Sumner with his Keyworker. Greg has recently been giving presentations to local schools on the dangers of drink driving. His 3 minute video went out on ITV Westcountry News in December 2015. We are all proud of Greg's achievements and his infectious spirit for life!
The Famous Friday Trips
You can't beat a good trip to the Garden Centre......recently trips have become so popular, we could do with a coach rather than a minibus!
