Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Tina Stovey
I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Memorial Service
Mihealam our Activities Coordinator, organised a memorial service for the family and friends of Cissy. Mihaela sang for us with such passion and residents read poems; it was a very emotional afternoon.
St James's Church Fête
We hosted an information stall at St James's Church Fête and were joined by some residents and loved ones. We were very proud that our visiting PAT dog, Cooper, won two rosettes in the dog show. Well done, Cooper!
Buttercup Walk
General Manager, Heather Constance, completed the annual Buttercup Walk to raise money for Stanmore National Orthopaedic Hospital.
Mihaela Entertains
Mihaela, our Activities Coordinator, plays the acoustic guitar and is also a professionally trained singer. She regularly entertains residents and facilitates a singalongs.

Care is there
Beneath the golden sun
Below forgiving roofs
Under the watchful eyes
Of those who chose
To ease another's path
In search of love and joy
And they are here
In equal measure.
Informing the Community
It was another successful day in our local community; we set up an information stand, offering advice regarding care and networking with potential volunteers.
