Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Tina Stovey
I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

Life at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Passover
Folks here had a great time celebrating Passover here at Bushey House Beaumont.
Pet Therapy
Animals are so therapeutic; we always look forward to our local Pets as Therapy dog, Cooper, coming to visit. He is such a handsome chap, and yes, he is allowed on the furniture, as we are soon to have our refurbishment!
Musical Entertainment
Our very own Activities Coordinator is a trained singer, so she put on some musical entertainment for everyone to enjoy - and enjoy they did!
Bushey Beaumont Q&A
We welcomed a visit from local MP, Oliver Dowden, who kindly joined us for a question and answer session. Group discussions with invited local guests are always very popular with residents here; it’s important to keep in touch with our local community.
Art Therapy
Art can be very therapeutic, whether that be with adult colouring books for relaxation and mindfulness, or with stimulating art classes, which are hosted by a resident who is a former art teacher.
A Delicious Day Out
Our local garden centre is always a popular venue for a bite to eat.
