Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Tina Stovey
I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

Life at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Care Home Open Day
We opened our doors to the community on 15th June and were pleased to welcome the new Deputy Mayor of Hertsmere, Councillor Brenda Batten, who had a tour of the home and chatted to residents.
In addition, our doors were also opened as a holding centre for donations for victims of the tragic Grenfell Tower fire in west London. Over 150 bags of donated goods were collected by our local community and brought to our home for onward distribution.
Our Divisional Winner
Congratulations to staff member, Lynn Allan, who has been named as a divisional winner in the 'Carer of the Year' category for the 2017 Barchester Care Awards. Here she is pictured with June's Employee of the Month, Emmanuel (RGN). She attended the Barchester Care Awards ceremony on 18th October.
Employee of the Month - April
Well done to Trainee Care Practitioner, Nola, who was named Employee of the Month for April here at Bushey House Beaumont.
Our Little Donation
General Manager, Heather Constance, presented a cheque for £130.00 to Audrey Mitchell, who is the founder of Herts Prems, a local charity that raises money for the Hertfordshire Premature Baby Unit. We raised the money during a charity quiz night, which everyone enjoyed. You can donate to the cause by clicking here.
Singing Group
Residents and staff had a great time participating in some group singing sessions.
Easter Festivities
We enjoyed an afternoon high tea, lots of Easter eggs and a bonnet-making craft session here at Bushey throughout Easter.
