Activities at Caldy Manor Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators work together to provide daily activities suited to the tastes of residents. We encourage those we support to continue with any hobbies whilst they stay at home. We also hold group activities, such as exercise to music, sing-alongs, craft sessions and visits to local places of interest. There are also evening events, including cheese & wine evenings and race nights. We keep families up-to-date through our newsletter and notices that can be found across the home. Family and friends are always welcome to join in!

Hi my name is Steph and I am Lead Activities here at Caldy Manor. As an Activities Coordinator I focus on encouraging our residents to take part in outdoor trips on the mini bus, delivering varied exercise classes and assisting residents with their chosen activities as part of our homes life enrichment plan. It is important that we continue to ensure our residents are connected to their local community.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Caldy Manor Care Home
St Patrick's Day
Residents enjoyed live music, snacks and plenty Baileys in recognition of St Patrick's Day.
Birthday Girl
Resident, Faye, had lots of fun celebrating her big day surrounded by friends and family.
Darts Challenge
Residents had lots of fun participating in a darts challenge. It even got a bit competitive!
Pancake Day
Residents tried their hand at tossing pancakes! They enjoyed pancakes and ice cream for their dessert.
Home Is Where the Heart Is
Ladies from St Mary’s Church knitting group joined us for afternoon tea and presented us with the hearts they had knitted for our project.
Chinese New Year
Residents designed and created some very special cards to send to each other in recognition of Chinese New Year.
