Activities at Cherry Blossom Manor Care Home
Activities at Cherry Blossom Manor are delivered using the whole home approach, where there is never a dull moment. Our Activities team take great care to make sure that our residents, resident’s families and staff’s physical, mental, and social well-being are taken into account. Whether it is a group session or a personal-centred activity you can be certain it is meeting a need.
We have our regular activities such as Scrabble Club, Bingo, Zumba, Gardening Club, Movie Time, family support meetings, Residents meetings and many more. We are also known for our theme days where the whole home likes to dress up. We have even been known in the past to go for a drive in the minibus in our costumes!

Christmas Preparations
Residents have been keeping busy lately creating some beautiful decorations to put up around the home.
Bonfire Night
Residents on our Memory Lane community created firework-themed artwork in celebration of Bonfire Night. In the evening, residents enjoyed a little 'snap, crackle & pop', followed by some hot chocolate, whipped cream and marshmallows.
The Wild West
Residents and staff enjoyed our wild west-themed afternoon with guest singer, Smokey Joe.
Christmas Creations
Residents at Cherry Blossom have been making some Christmas cards, all ready for the festive season.
Birdworld
Residents and staff enjoyed a recent trip out to Birdworld. Everyone had lots of fun!
Twinkle Toes
Resident, Peggy, has been teaching Activities Coordinator, Angie, some new dance moves, and she seems to be picking them up quickly.
