Hello. My name is Kate and I am the General Manager here at Forest Care Home. Welcome to our website.

I have worked within Health and Social care for 24 years in varied roles. My passion, empathy and understanding are within the Care Home sector and I’m driven to ensure my residents live well and happy lives. My staff are equipped with the tools and training to ensure this happens.

 

Richard Glover

Deputy Clinical Manager

I'm Richard and for the past 25 years I have worked in healthcare across multiple sectors assisting services to deliver quality care provision.  My background has been within mental health and adult healthcare where I was service manager and head of clinical services respectively.  I pride myself in helping people, both staff and residents to improve their wellness to permit them to become the best version of themselves.

Hi, I’m Lauren, I’m the Home Administrator for Forest Care Centre. I enjoy every aspect of my role, but particularly spending time with our residents and watching all of them thrive and smile.

I have worked the past 10 years designing/stage managing theatres shows and teaching Applied theatre to theatre schools,

I am dedicated to bringing music, art and creative arts to Forest Care Centre to give the best life enrichment to the residents and

making their home the most exciting and happiest place for them to live.

Jerrie Mallon

Head Chef

I am Jerrie the head chef for Forest Care Centre which incorporates the hospital and the care home. I have been a chef for 32 years.  I have worked at Barchester since 2020, I love seeing the patients and residents happy, I understand how important the dining experience is for our patients and residents and how it is essential that all patients and residents have really good nutritional meals. 

Sarah Stevens

Head Of Maintenance

Hi my name is Sarah Stevens. I have worked at Forest Care Centre for 4 years. I started as a support worker on the hospital side. A year ago I decided to apply for the position of Head of Maintenance, I look after both Forest Hospital and Forest Care Home, my goal is to ensure a safe living environment for patients, residents, staff and visitors. In 2023 I won divisional Health and Safety champion and this year I have won the divisional Maintenance Champion both of which I’m very proud of. 

Kerry Burrows

Head Housekeeper

Hi, my name is Kerry, and I have worked as a Housekeeper, Laundry Supervisor and, presently, I am the Head Housekeeper. During my time at Forest Care Home, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience. 

I have six members of staff on my team, and we all ensure that our areas of the home are kept to a high standard of cleanliness, so that residents can live in a safe and beautiful environment. We have all built a good relationship with residents and their families, allowing us to feel that we are all part of an even bigger family.
