Activities at Glebefields Care Home
Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience, and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

Horse Racing From Aintree
Our decorative Easter bonnets didn't go to waste as they were repurposed for our ladies to watch the horse racing from Aintree on Friday 14th April 2023 and the main Grand National event on Saturday.
Residents; Millie, Pam. Marlene, Cynthia, Ivy and Edith thoroughly enjoyed the coverage showing all the lovely ladies outfits and had fun themselves dressing up for the occasion.
Glebefields care staff and the hospitality team ensured the residents who wished to watch the race had a fabulous time with party food, fruit punch and fizz on the go throughout. Congratulations to Corach Rambler for the fantastic win!
PAT Dog 'Isla' Visits
Cutie PAT dog 'Isla' always puts a smile on our residents faces. She loves lots of cuddles and happy to let you stroke her whether you’re passing in the corridor, or on a visit to your room Isla really enjoys a fuss. She's genuinely one of our favourite guests at Glebefields.
