Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Latimer Court Care Home
Delicious Summer BBQ
We enjoyed a delicious BBQ that was held in our grounds this week to make the most of the sunny weather. The Head Chef & hospitality team served a selection of our BBQ favourites.
Board Games in the Sunshine
Some of us enjoyed playing board games in the sunshine followed by English tea & delicious homemade cake. We are looking forward to lots more fun in the sun over the coming months armed with sun cream, refreshments & sun hats at the ready!
Family Join in Jubilee Fun
Jubilee cream tea with live music entertainment, a singalong to some wartime classics & Jubilee themed craft activities. The whole home & families came together to celebrate our longest reigning monarch and reminisce about what she means to each and every one of us
Flowers Donation Brightens Our Home
A huge THANK YOU to Tesco for their donation of beautiful flowers for our home. British flowers week runs from June 12th to 19th. It was founded in 2013, British Flowers Week is an annual celebration of the wealth & variety of British flowers, plants & foliage.
Gardening Club Gets Busy
Gardening club members enjoyed preparing our beds with a spot of weeding. We also enjoyed planting seeds & watering the plants in the greenhouse, we look forward to seeing all of the beautiful flowers grow & be planted in our gardens for the Summer.
Granddaughter's classical performance Brings Joy
We enjoyed a piano recital that took place as part of our May Day celebrations. Dr Imogen Schofield, Granddaughter of one of our residents, attended Kings School in Worcester. Imogen treated residents & her proud Grandad to an impressive repertoire of classical music.
