Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Our aim is to make sure that those we support can enjoy a happy and fulfilled stay with us.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Latimer Court Care Home
Riverside walk
This morning we decided to go down by the river to enjoy some delicious cake and a lovely cup of tea in the beautiful sunshine.. Cafe Viaduct by Little Al’s Kitchen. Residents really enjoyed the heavenly slice of Victoria sponge cake
Whole Home Approach
Everyday is full of activities & fun. Every team member is busy in their roles. Once a week we do a whole home approach activity within the home where the staff gather from all different departments with some of our residents. We decided to take a photograph to remember the moment.
Dementia Friendly Film Club
Saturday morning has been a busy morning with our first Dementia film club in the cinema room showing one of the great Carry On films, then just before lunch we enjoyed games on one of our memory lane communities, it was great fun!
Joyous Visit with Bubbles & Laughter
We all really enjoyed seeing Kirsten from Debutots with the children from Nunnerywood Preschool. They always put a smile on everyone faces and bring so much joy to us all. The children love coming too and look forward to visiting their friends at Latimer Court!
Baking & Reminiscing
Residents on memory lane enjoyed baking cup cakes and helping each other, they shared stories and reminisced about when they used to bake with their children and grandchildren.
Summer BBQ In the Rain!
Summer BBQ for our residents & relatives, it was raining so we took our summer celebrations under cover instead. Thank you to Debbie the singer for helping us enjoy the day even more despite the weather.
