Our Activities Coordinators work as a team by involving staff and relatives in the activities sessions. They implement and plan activities tailored to residents' likes, dislikes, beliefs and life stories. Lots of people choose to place loved ones in Magnolia Court because of our reputation for hosting great activities all year long!

I joined Barchester in December 2019 as an Activities assistant and in February 2022 I became the Activities Lead at Magnolia Court Care Home. I am passionate about my role at Magnolia Court, I am a people person and nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on our Residents faces. It is a joy to work with such a great team, I am very happy to be a part of team Magnolia and look forward to meeting you soon!

Community Professionals Breakfast

Magnolia Court's Professionals Breakfast !!

A beautiful morning for our team at Magnolia Court to connect with our local community. We met in our courtyard garden and enjoyed delicious pastries and fresh fruit with tea, coffee and iced juice. All prepared by Head Chef Alfred and his team.

General Manager Octavian said "We believe it is so very important for us to be connected with our local community and are always keen to build new relationships with local professionals and look forward to forming links to support and complement each other'.

Nelson Mandela Day.

Residents and team members at Magnolia Court in Hampstead celebrated Nelson Mandela Day on 18 July in honour of the great man’s birthday. Residents attended a historical talk about his life and read excerpts from Mandela’s famous book ‘A Long Walk to Freedom’.

It was a truly interesting and inspiring day.

Eye's down !

It's eye down for a fun afternoon of bingo at Magnolia Court and there were lots to of chocolate treats be won. Residents took it in turns to be the caller and were delighted to give their bingo calling skills ago.

Come on England !!

Football has definitely come home to the residents and team members at Magnolia Court. The atmosphere was electric on Wednesday evening and we are all looking forward to the game on Sunday. The home is decorated and we are ready to cheer the England team on. We are all delighted England is in the final and we wish the team the best of luck for Sunday.

Magnolia Court whisked off on an amazing virtual visit to the Icelandic Puffin Rescue Centre

Magnolia Court was whisked off on an amazing virtual visit to the Icelandic Puffin Rescue Centre at the Beluga Whale Sanctuary with SEA LIFE Trust. During the virtual experience, we were be able to learn all about these amazing birds that inhabit the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago and hear about how SEA LIFE Trust Beluga Whale Sanctuary’s animal care team, along with the islanders, are helping to protect them.
