Activities at Magnolia Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators work as a team by involving staff and relatives in the activities sessions. They implement and plan activities tailored to residents' likes, dislikes, beliefs and life stories. Lots of people choose to place loved ones in Magnolia Court because of our reputation for hosting great activities all year long!

I joined Barchester in December 2019 as an Activities assistant and in February 2022 I became the Activities Lead at Magnolia Court Care Home. I am passionate about my role at Magnolia Court, I am a people person and nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on our Residents faces. It is a joy to work with such a great team, I am very happy to be a part of team Magnolia and look forward to meeting you soon!

Life at Magnolia Court Care Home
Magnolia Court celebrates Global Beatles Day
Magnolia Court care home was transformed into the Cavern Club to mark Global Beatles Day on 25th June. We listened to the Beatle's Greatest Hits and our favourite by far was "All you need is love ". We looked at The Beatles memorabilia and made our very own collage to display . The day brought back lots of wonderful memories and it was a great chance to dust off our dancing shoes to dance along,
Ladies day at Ascot.
Ladies day at Ascot ! Was celebrated with a popping of corks and a clinking glasses at Magnolia Court. We donned our favourite hats and fascinators and looked up the horses form to choose our winners. Our head chef and his tea baked a beautiful high tea which was absolutely delicious. A super day enjoyed by all. Thank you to Tammie and Mimi and the rest of our team for making it such a wonderful day.
A trip to the Pub Garden on National Beer Day
It's National Beer Day and to celebrate residents from Magnolia Court took a trip to The Old Bull and Bush in Hampstead. Residents had a lovely afternoon celebrating and enjoyed an ice cold tipple in the glorious sunshine in the garden.

Happy 95th Birthday Queen Elizabeth II
Residents and team members had a wonderful time celebrating The Queen's Birthday. Bill, Magnolia Courts resident ambassador cut the cake while we toasted The Queen and sang happy birthday. The celebrations continued with entertainment from Michael Ohare

Magnolia Court take a trip to The Clitterhouse Farm Project
Magnolia Court were delighted to take a trip to The Clitterhouse Farm Project We got stuck in and helped Anika repot some of the herbs from the green house and then enjoyed the sunshine in their beautiful gardens. Thank you to all the team at Clitter House farm we had a lovely time.

Booming Haus virtual Floral Masterclass.
Magnolia Court were delighted to spend time creating a beautiful floral masterpiece to enter the #BloomingBarchester competition in partnership with Blooming Haus following their amazing virtual flower arranging masterclass. We all had a wonderful time decorating and working on our arrangement and we are happy to say we were impressed with our skills in applying all the tips and ideas learnt during the class to make a colourful floral design.
