Activities at Magnolia Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators work as a team by involving staff and relatives in the activities sessions. They implement and plan activities tailored to residents' likes, dislikes, beliefs and life stories. Lots of people choose to place loved ones in Magnolia Court because of our reputation for hosting great activities all year long!
Tammie Comey
I joined Barchester in December 2019 as an Activities assistant and in February 2022 I became the Activities Lead at Magnolia Court Care Home. I am passionate about my role at Magnolia Court, I am a people person and nothing makes me happier than putting a smile on our Residents faces. It is a joy to work with such a great team, I am very happy to be a part of team Magnolia and look forward to meeting you soon!

Life at Magnolia Court Care Home
Alzheimer's Networking Event
Staff members and residents had a lovely day out at the Ally Pally, where they attended the Alzheimer's networking day. All residents enjoyed the interactive games, yoga sessions and buffet, full of delicious food.
The Magic Table
We are delighted to announce that we have just had a Magic Table installed, which is an interactive light projector, designed to support residents living with dementia by keeping them engaged through specialised games.
The light projections respond to hand and arm movement, allowing residents to stay stimulated and, most of all, have fun!
You can read more about it on this page.
Purim
Celebrating Purim was so much fun! The rabbi came with his kids and shared stories of Jewish history with us. Thank you Rabbi Yossi!
Great British Spring Clean
Magnolia Court took part in the 'Great British Spring Clean' in our local park Childs Hill. Everyone worked hard picking up litter and trimming the hedges! We were very proud to be a part of the community.

London Children Ballet
We were lucky enough for the London Children Ballet to visit Magnolia Court again. It was a great opportunity for us to celebrate the birthdays of our residents born in February. Everyone had a wonderful afternoon and we are hoping they will be able to visit us again soon.
