Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hello. I am Jackie, the Lead Activity Co-Ordinator at Moreton Hill. I have worked for Barchester for over 10 years. Now, together with my team and the staff at our beautiful home, our aim is to help all residents live life to the best they can by bringing meaningful and enriching activities into their lives.

Life at Moreton Hill Care Home
Carers Hub Visits Moreton Hill
Many thanks to the Carers Hub who ran their sessions from Moreton Hill for carers in the community. This important service offers support, training and useful advice to anyone in the area caring for a relative or loved one.
Now the sessions have come to a close, talks are underway to maintain networking and carer support at Moreton Hill. Please contact Louisa Cairns on 07551 276827 for more information.
Woolly Wednesday knitting project
Woolly Wednesdays is well underway! Working on knitted poppies for Remembrance Day.
Pottery at Moreton Hill
Residents and visitors began making pottery christmas decorations today, under the expert guidance of Paddy. The handmade decorations will be dried, painted and glazed ready to be hung on the stunning tree which has pride of place in the dining hall every December. All the Fun of the Fair at Moreton Hill!
The Moreton Hill Summer Fair was a great success! With a cake stall, tombola, plant stall as well as a visit from the horses! What a wonderful day all to raise money for 'Patchwork' Riding for the disabled.
Getting crafty with the P3 Community Group
The residents of Moreton Hill met with members of the P3 Community Group today making table decorations with silk flowers in a clay stand. Some really interesting and eye catching designs were created! If you would like to join the group please contact Moreton Hill to register your interest.
