Activities at Orchard House Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Gardening Club
Great news! We started our gardening club at Orchard House Care Home and our residents had a wonderful time. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all kind people who generously contributed to make this possible. Your donations have helped us transform the care home garden into a beautiful space that our residents can enjoy. We are now excited to host the upcoming Coronation garden party in our garden. Thank you again for your support!

Celebrating the King's Coronation
We celebrated the King Charles III coronation with a fantastic event. Jacob Gammon, our bartender, whipped up some amazing cocktails for everyone, and the Double Take ladies brought some great energy to the party. After the festivities, we had a delicious high tea for our guests. We hope everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the celebration as much as we did!

Orchard House Care Home had a fantastic trip to the Bus Museum
The outing was a great success, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the visit. The volunteers at the Bus Museum were especially supportive and kind to our group, which made the day even more special.
The trip was organized as part of our ongoing commitment to providing our residents with a variety of stimulating and engaging activities. We believe that getting out and about is an essential part of maintaining physical and mental wellbeing, and this trip certainly helped to achieve that goal.
At Orchard House Care Home, we are committed to providing the very best care for our residents, and today's trip was just one example of the many ways in which we strive to do so. We look forward to planning many more enjoyable outings in the future.
