Activities at Park View Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Culture Day

Today we had culture day

Culture day is where all the staff cook and bring in there own traditional food. We had an English tent, Africa tent, Asia tent, and Eastern European tent.

All the staff come together and cooked for everyone. The residents really enjoy this every year as we have 108 residents from all over the world.

We had live entertainment and residents were all up singing and dancing.

We also invited residents from our sister homes Paternoster and Westgate.

We all had such an amazing day and we're already planning next year's event!

Bill's big night out!

What a special night for William as he went to see Abba Live! He had a fantastic time and even dressed for the occasion. Lots of people were asking Bill for photos and he especially enjoyed the after party. He spent the whole time up on his feet dancing, showing everyone how it's done!

School Children Join us for Lunch

We had a wonderful visit from the school children of William Ford School today at Park View Care Home. They joined us for a delicious lunch and then we had some fun activities together. The residents loved seeing the children and their bright smiles. They shared stories and jokes with them. It was a lovely day for everyone involved and we look forward to seeing them again soon.

Our New Pumpkin Patch

Our whole team, including residents have been getting busy in our garden.

The team are building a pumpkin garden for residents to grown their own pumpkins, ready for them to decorate our home at Halloween! Our residents really enjoy doing new things in the garden, especially growing things they can use in the future. Robert who helped will go out there daily to water them to ensure they grow.
