John Cunningham
Hi, my name is John and I am the general manager here at Pittsmead Grange care home and I welcome you all to our website.
I am a registered nurse by profession with over 35 years of experience working in the private care home sector and I am very proud to be leading the team here at Pittsmead Grange.
My aim is to provide person centred care alongside the highest level of service possible to each and every one of our residents. Our team is focused on designing an individual life enrichment programme to ensure each resident has activities tailored to them and their individual interests.
Nutrition is an integral part of daily living. At Pittsmead Grange our fully qualified chefs have developed a bespoke seasonal menu using fresh locally sourced produce to ensure each resident has a well-balanced choice whether at breakfast, lunch or supper.
I am extremely passionate in my job role and strive to ensure that my team work to the highest standards and share my knowledge with them to ensure that all have full understanding of what my expectations as the general manager are to deliver exceptional and compassionate care to our residents.
Supporting, reassuring and communicating with residents and their loved ones is my highest priority and enriching our residents lives to the fullest.
I feel extremely privileged to share this journey with our residents in such a luxury environment with outstanding residential and dementia care and for us as a home to ensure a smooth and settled transition for all in to our beautiful home.

Hello, my name is Emily and I am the Home Administrator at Pittsmead Grange Care Home. I have been working in care homes since I left school and have over 4 years’ experience working within an admin/reception team. I am really excited to be working in such a beautiful environment and with such a great team. As the Home Administrator I will be here to help our families with any questions they may have around their account, I will also be ensuring that the back office and front of house is run efficiently. I really look forward to welcoming new residents and their families into our wonderful home.

Hello, my name is Anita and I am a housekeeper here at Pittsmead Grange Care Home. This home is beautiful and I am really pleased I get to be part of the team to keep it that way. I have worked for Barchester for a long time and now being able to work in a new build is a great opportunity.
