Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Ellie Rattue
My name is Ellie and I am Head of Activities here at Prestbury Beaumont. I completed my studies in Sociology at the University of Sheffield last year and recently joined this wonderful team at the beginning of 2024. As part of my role, I am responsible for planning enjoyable and engaging activities that foster a happy and joyful environment for the residents. I dedicate myself to ensure that the residents feel fulfilled and enthusiastic about participating in the wide array of diverse and person-centred activities I organise for them. I am deeply passionate about my role as I derive great joy from assisting others and strive to uphold Barchester’s high standards.

Long Service Award - 20 years!
We congratulated Judith Barton, part of the activities team, for 20 years of service at Prestbury Beaumont recently! Judith is seen here proudly displaying her long service golden oak leaf pin.
Watercolour Painting
Our residents tried their hand at watercolour painting and were proud of the results. They painted flowers, landscapes and even a snowman. A very productive afternoon!
The Choral Society
We had a visit from a local Choral Society recently. Residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed hearing their wonderful voices and we hope they can visit again soon.
Birthday Celebrations
Resident, Thelma, enjoyed celebrating her birthday alongside her family on 8th January. She enjoyed a delicious cake and everyone at Prestbury wished her well.
Christmas Buffet
Each Christmas, Prestbury Beaumont's catering staff prepare a stunning buffet, which all residents and staff are welcome to enjoy. This year. we combined the buffet with our Christmas Party.
School Christmas Party
A great time was had at the Christmas party, which took place at the Fallibroome School in Macclesfield. There was bingo, balloons and plenty to eat, all put together by the pupils in the main school hall. Happy Christmas!
