Activities at Queens Court Care Home
Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

We are delighted to introduce Emilia as our Activities Lead. Emilia has been part of Queens Court for some time and is excellent in ensuring our residents have a full and interesting life introducing many new hobbies, activities and experiences!

Life at Queens Court Care Home
Double Celebration
Guiseppe Varchione was named Queens Court's Employee of the Month for June and Head of Hospitality, Mervyn Knights, celebrated 15 years of service - a double celebration indeed!
We are a top 20 care home!
We are delighted to announce that Queens Court has been named as one of the top 20 care homes in London for 2017 by www.carehome.co.uk. A huge congratulations to everyone who has made this possible!
A Visit from the CEO
The CEO of Barchester Healthcare, Dr Pete Calveley, and CFO, Mark Hazelwood, came to visit Queens Court to meet staff and residents and view the progress of the refurbishment programme. He said, “I am very pleased to see these improvements at Queens Court. Barchester Healthcare is proud of their investments in their care homes. It’s always a joy to meet the residents who call our care homes 'home' and to see just how much the transformation project is truly enhancing their quality of life.”
St Patrick's Day
Residents enjoyed some entertainment from Georgina Wyatt on St Patrick's Day. They were also treated to a full Irish menu that was prepared by Chefs, Mervyn Knights and Gibum Kim.
Great British Care Awards
We are delighted to announce that we were named the winners of the 'Dignity in Care Award' at the 2016 Great British Care Awards. Well done to us!
Queen's Court have been announced as winners of the Dignity at the London Care Awards 2016
Shaaron Caratella, General Manager at Queens Court said: “We are so proud to be recognised for our hard work and commitment to care at these awards. At Queens Court, we employ dedicated and experienced people who consistently provide a high standard in quality of care for residents.”
